Right to Buy Sales, July to September 2007

The key results for the July to September quarter 2007 show:

• There were 631 Right to Buy (RTB) claims during the July to September quarter 2007. A decrease of 314 from the previous quarter, and a decrease of 537 from the same quarter the previous year.
• There were 244 completed RTB sales during the July to September quarter 2007. This was 11 less than the previous quarter and 34 less than the same period the previous year.
• There has been a decrease in the number of applications outstanding since the last quarter and the same quarter of the previous year. There were 1,775 RTB applications outstanding at the end of September 2007 and 2,752 applications outstanding at the end of September 2006, compared with 3,017 at the end of September 2005.
