NHS Wales Accident and Emergency Waiting Times: June 2007

This statistical release is a monthly series and presents Accident and Emergency (A&E) waiting times of NHS Trusts within Wales. The release reports on Trust performance for major A&E departments, other A&E/minor injury units, and all hospital emergency care facilities and covers the period beginning June 2006 through to June 2007.

Key results:

  • 90.6 per cent of patients spent less than 4 hours in a Major A&E Department from arrival until admission, transfer or discharge, a decrease of 1.0 percentage points compared with May;
  • 98.4 per cent of patients spent less than 8 hours in a Major A&E Department from arrival until admission, transfer or discharge, a decrease of 0.4 percentage points compared with May.

All figures relating to June 2007 are provisional.
