Welsh Index of Distribution Quarter 3, 2007

Summary

• The Index of Distribution for Wales for the latest four quarters rose by 3.6% compared with the previous four quarters.  The UK index rose by 3.3% over the same period.
• Retail output for the latest four quarters was 2.3% higher than the previous four quarters.  The UK index rose 4.1% over the same period.
• Wholesale output for the latest four quarters was 8.7% higher than the previous four quarters.  The UK rose by 3.1% over the same period.
• Motor Trade output for the latest four quarters was 0.3% lower than the previous four quarters.  The UK rose by 1.0% over the same period.
