Crown Application of The Planning Acts

From 7 June 2006, following new legislation, the Planning Acts apply to the Crown, subject to some exceptions. The Crown has previously been immune from the planning system. Crown bodies now, in general, have to apply for planning permission for development in a similar way to other applicants.
