Crime reduction

Magnifying-glass.

The Home Office in Wales is responsible for the delivery of the National Crime Reduction Strategy. We are working with the Home Office to reduce crime in many different ways with initiatives designed to tackle particular problems.

Community Safety Partnerships are the main organisations working to deliver the initiatives. Others are also involved, such as voluntary organisations.

We are working with our partners to:

  • create safer communities;
  • reduce the fear of crime; and
  • address drug related crime.
