NAFWC08/07 - Telecare Capital Grant

Introduction and Background

This circular sets out guidance for local authorities and local health boards on the Welsh Assembly Government’s objectives in providing capital grant funding for the purchase of telecare sensors and equipment, on the terms and conditions upon which grant is provided and the procedure for submitting evidence of compliance.

As this is a capital grant local authorities will be unable to claim for revenue expenditure.
