Autistic Spectrum Disorder(ASD)




Autism is often the short-hand name given to a wide ‘spectrum’ of disorders, which includes Asperger syndrome and high functioning autism.

Awareness Raising Packages

The Welsh Government, with assistance from:

  • Autism Cymru
  • the National Autistic Society (Cymru)
  • the Social Services Improvement Agency (SSIA) and other agencies, together with families and individuals with ASD

have produced ASD Awareness Raising Packages.

These materials are targeted at practitioners in the statutory and independent sectors, as well as families and the users of services.
