The Welsh Government has a specific duty to ensure that individuals are not discriminated against on the grounds of disability.

The Welsh Government is also committed to engaging with and listening to the needs of disabled people, and addressing the historical imbalance which has resulted in many disabled people being socially excluded and undervalued.
