Herd Register Booklet

All bovine producers are required to keep an up-to-date herd register. This must be available for inspection by authorised officials on request, otherwise you may lose premium or face prosecution.

We recommend that you use this register.

However, if you are satisfied your current register (such as a computer register) records all the information shown in columns 1 to 9 of this register, you can continue using it if you so wish.

Please keep this, or your current register, in a safe place.

You should not keep both registers.
