City Regions task and finish group biographies

The aim of the group is to consider the potential role of city regions in future economic development in Wales.

An advisory group was set up to consider and report on the potential role of ‘City Regions’ in future economic development in Wales. The final report has now been published.

Task and Finish Group

A Task and Finish group was set up by the Minister for Economy, Science and Transport. They held regular meetings where Members considered a range of economic and statistical evidence and data as well as presentations on international examples of city regions.

Call for Evidence

A 'Call for Evidence' was held and has now ended. All written and verbal evidence presented to the Group has been summarised and a document outlining this is available.

The final report

The Final Report has been now been published. A summary version is available in Welsh.
