There are a wide range of grants available to organisations across Wales.

These organisations include local authorities, Community Safety Partnerships & the voluntary sector. Grants are used to improve housing, reduce homelessness, promote community safety and regenerate areas of deprivation.

Examples include:

  • Disabled Facilities Grants to enable disabled people to continue to live in their own homes.
  • The Housing Renewal areas scheme for local authorities to focus activity and investment on areas that need assistance but combine with the potential for regeneration.
  • Social Housing Grants & Social Housing Management Grants. These are made available to Registered Social Landlords, such as housing associations, to provide new affordable housing for rent or low cost home ownership and so that Wales' social housing can reach high quality standards both in terms of condition and management.
