Sport Wales is the national organisation responsible for developing and promoting sport and active lifestyles. Sport Wales received £26.64m from the Welsh Government in 20010-11 including funding for the Welsh Government's Free Swimming Initiative. It is also responsible for distributing National Lottery funds to sport in Wales.
