The All Wales Community Cohesion Strategy

76 written consultation responses were received which were analysed with the support of the Social Justice and Local Government Department researchers.  

The majority of respondents supported the development of the Strategy, the main themes that we are considering are:

• The inclusion of all parts of the community
• The importance of partnership working between local authorities and other voluntary sector partners.
• Mainstreaming community cohesion through other policy areas.
• Highlighting cohesion issues that are important in Wales.
• Looking at the impact of poverty and deprivation.
• The evaluation criteria to measure the Strategy's impact.

The final Strategy will be available in November this year.
