Consultation on Circular:School Organisation Proposals

The main policy document on school organisation proposals was originally published in 2002 (National Assembly for Wales Circular 23/02 - School Organisation Proposals).

The draft Circular sets out the policy context and general principles for reviewing the supply of school places. It sets out the factors that need to be taken into account by those bringing forward proposals. It also explains the criteria which the Welsh Ministers (normally the Minister for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills) will apply in reaching decisions that come to her for determination.
