Written Statement - 2010-11 Revenue Allocations

Today I would like to announce that an additional £135 million is being made available, this year, for public services in Wales.

£110 million of this additional money is to be allocated to the Health service. This money will ensure that we have a robust service that will be able to deal with any pressures that the service may face this year. 

In addition, I am also pleased to announce £25 million for Education. This will provide additional resources to recognise the increase in student numbers this year.
