National Survey for Wales

National Survey for Wales
The National Survey for Wales is an opportunity for people to give their opinion on a wide range of issues affecting them and their local area.

The Welsh Government is committed to making sure its decisions and actions take into account the views of people in Wales and  the National Survey is one of its key sources of information on people’s views and circumstances.

The results will be used by the Welsh Government to help make Wales a better place to live. They will help it to:

  • make decisions that are based on sound evidence;
  • monitor changes over time;
  • identify areas of good practice that can be implemented more widely; and
  • identify areas or groups that would benefit from intensive local support, so action can be targeted as effectively as possible.
